Wind4All Inc.

  • Wind4All Inc., our first CEDIF was established in early 2012. 155 Nova Scotians invested over $2.3 million, and the net proceeds of this fund were used to invest in the Fairmont Wind Farm. When the CEDIF closed, it was the most successful raise in the history of the CEDIF program.

  • The Fairmont Wind Farm is comprised of two Enercon E82 2.3 MW wind turbines, and is located near Antigonish. Since December of 2012, these two wind turbines have been providing electricity to almost 1,500 Nova Scotian families, and they will do so for 20 years. On a per capita basis, each of our investors can be proud that they offset approx 70 tonnes of CO2, per year

Wind4All Communities Inc.

  • Wind4All Communities Inc. is the second in the Wind4All family. It was established in early 2013, having raised $5.5 million in its first CEDIF Offering. True to the model embraced by Wind4All Inc., in September of 2013, the net proceeds of this fund were used to invest in two wind energy projects; the Gaetz Brook Community Wind Farm (located in the HRM), and the Hillside – Boularderie Community Wind Farm (located on Cape Breton Island).

  • Construction for both of these wind farms is now complete and to date approximately $7 million has been spent locally on goods and services. These two projects represent 6.35 MW of renewable energy generation in Nova Scotia. The wind farms were developed under Nova Scotia’s COMFIT program, and through a power purchase agreement with Nova Scotia Power, 100% of the power produced will be used locally, by the surrounding communities for the next 20 years.
